Sweet heat with a serious kick
This jar from Tango sings with intense spicy flavor. It tastes like hot jalapeño notes folded into a very sweet jammy base so a tiny smear goes a long way. The spice hits hard then fades quickly leaving room to enjoy the flavor. The peel-off safety seal was not fully attached, which let a little jelly collect between the seal and the lid, but the metal lid itself was sealed and the outside stayed clean. It is a bit pricey, but because you use so little at a time it goes a long way, making it a good value for heat lovers. Great on cheese, tacos, or even toast or a plain cracker.

I have been buying this hot sauce for years it’s amazing! There is nothing else like it. It’s just the right amount of sweet to go with medium level heat. And the consistency is very different yet perfect. I do prefer the truffle version that I also buy periodically.

Lots of flavor, just the right amount of spice
This Tango Dragon Jelly comes with a warning that it’s extremely spicy and that people with certain conditions (including pregnancy) may not want to eat it. I happen to be pregnant, so that made me nervous even though I eat spicy food daily. I started with trying just a tiny taste, and it tastes just like jalapeño poppers. For those with a high spice tolerance it has a kick, but isn’t super spicy. It has a great balance of sweetness and a lot of flavor. I mixed a good sized spoonful into white macaroni, and that was delicious! The cheesiness and bold pepper flavor went so well together! It has a smooth jelly consistency that stirred into my meal well, and would also be spreadable or dip-able. I really enjoyed this!
