Cook With Tango
Recipes
Tango isn't a side-of-the-plate sauce. Here's what to do with a bottle once you stop dabbing and start cooking.
Mango Habanero
Sticky Mango Habanero Wings
Sweet, hot, and lacquered. The Mango Habanero reduces into a glaze that clings to every crispy edge.
You'll Need
- 2 lbs chicken wings, patted dry
- 1 tbsp baking powder + salt
- ⅓ cup Tango Mango Habanero
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp butter
Make It
- 1Toss wings with baking powder and salt. Roast at 425°F for 45 min, flipping once, until crisp.
- 2Warm Mango Habanero, honey, and butter in a pan until glossy.
- 3Toss hot wings in the glaze. Finish with lime and scallion.
Hot
Tango Hot Honey Pizza Drizzle
The five-second upgrade. A hot-honey finish that turns any slice — delivery or homemade — into something you made on purpose.
You'll Need
- 3 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp Tango Hot
- Pinch of flaky salt
- Pizza, hot from the oven
Make It
- 1Warm honey and Tango Hot together for 30 seconds until pourable.
- 2Drizzle over pepperoni, margherita, or anything with a little fat to cut.
- 3Hit it with flaky salt and eat immediately.
Thai Chile
Thai Chile Peanut Noodles
A slow-building heat folded into a creamy peanut sauce. Twenty minutes, one bowl, no apologies.
You'll Need
- 8 oz rice noodles or spaghetti
- 3 tbsp peanut butter
- 2 tbsp Tango Thai Chile
- 1 tbsp soy sauce + 1 tsp sesame oil
- Lime, cilantro, crushed peanuts
Make It
- 1Cook noodles; reserve ½ cup of the water.
- 2Whisk peanut butter, Tango Thai Chile, soy, and sesame oil, loosening with pasta water until silky.
- 3Toss noodles in the sauce. Top with lime, cilantro, and peanuts.
Truffle
Truffle Tango Aioli
The dip that disappears. Goes on fries, burgers, eggs, and roasted everything — make a double batch.
You'll Need
- ½ cup good mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp Tango Truffle
- 1 small clove garlic, grated
- Squeeze of lemon
Make It
- 1Stir everything together until smooth.
- 2Rest 10 minutes so the garlic mellows.
- 3Serve with fries — or anything that was about to be boring.
